Dear Parishioners of St John XXIII,
In order to limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus and so as to
comply with the Government of Ontario’s new regulations
requiring that all non-essential workplaces be closed, we are
sorry to inform you that the church and the parish office must
remain closed until further notice.
This is a deeply painful, but necessary, decision for our faith
However, we are still here for you during this difficult time. You

I will be celebrating Mass each morning at 7:30 AM for your
intentions and for an end to this affliction; you can watch Mass

BAPTISMS IN AN EMERGENCY
Parents are to Baptize their own child.
1) Begin with the sign of the cross;
2) Pray the Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be;
3) Pour clear warm water over child’s head saying,
“I baptize you (child’s name) in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.”
4) Tell God, in your own words, how thankful you are for the
gift of eternal life He has just given your child through Christ Jesus.
At a later date, we can receive your child into the Church in a liturgy of reception.
A brief liturgy can be held in Church or Funeral Home with
only immediate family; graveside prayers with immediate
